Benchtop manual pick-and-place system for SMD prototyping and short runs. You guide the vacuum spindle by hand on a two-axis gantry; a 5 MP digital microscope, a laser landing guide and motorized tape feeders do the seeing and the feeding. PCB panels up to 320 × 180 mm.
Configurations
- À la carte: the system with all standard accessories, no feeders.
- Starter package: the system with all standard accessories and 10 Model A Tape Feeder Kits.
Handedness
Righty or lefty sets the armrest and counterweight side. The owner can convert it later.
Standard accessories
3 microscope lenses, laser pointer module, 4 magnetic PCB locators, 6 pick styli, 3 ESD suction cups, odd components tray, transfer mirror, Kapton tape, feeder labels.
Not included
Stencil printer, solder paste and reflow oven.
Compatibility
Uses Model A Tape Feeder Kits (8, 12 or 16 mm tape). Does not accept the SMT Caddy MTI.
