Magnetic-base fixture that presents strips of cut tape at the same height as a PCB held in the locators, for convenient pick and place on the SMT Caddy Model A platform. Pull back on the cover tape to advance the carrier; the cover tape tucks away in a drawer slot.
- 8 mm version: 10 strips of 8 mm tape, for common passives.
- 12–24 mm version: 6 strips: 3 × 12 mm, 2 × 16 mm, 1 × 24 mm.
- Footprint: 50 × 110 mm. Removable labels included.
The magnetic base needs a steel surface such as the Model A platform. For DIN rail, see the SMT Caddy MTI, which advances the tape with a plunger press.
